murky...
i suspect a lot of people would miss out on that face... it's small, so to be recognised it needs to be obvious.. but it's only a section out of a face. personally i would have put it upside-down (a reflection), and included the whole face.
the hand is amazing though... that reflection seems totally impossible but gives a real feeling of viscous oiliness to the fluid. is a good illustration for your thought, but i would never have guessed that that was what it was about otherwise
